Not the poses, not the schedule — the glance across the room at the Nikah, the grandmother's hands during the Mehndi, the quiet minute before the Barat arrives. That is what I came to this work for, and it is still the only thing I look for.
Mustajab Weddings began in Peshawar. Today we travel across Pakistan and beyond, but the way we work hasn't changed: a small team, a limited number of weddings each season, and every frame edited by hand.
